I see the mistake guys are making when they answer this question; a very biased "My team rules" look. Im not an Arsenal fan, but i respect them. and i think he the most talented young central midfielder right now in the prem but not the 'best in the prem' I mean if you watched him in the game against United at the beginning of the season, he was immaculate. And THAT'S why he is twice Barclaycard Premiership Player of the month...

Paul Scholes, Cristiano Ronaldo, Steven Gerrad, Claude Makelele,Aaron Lennon,Ryan Giggs and John Mikel Obi are light years ahead of Fabregas.

depends on the way you want him to play since he has got the Midfielder Maestro Icon and I think he is too young to be judged and for me I think alongside experience if he gets a better and more consistent Arsenal side, he can only get better...
For me, at least, MEssien or Ronaldinho gets the best Midfielder prize....

i nearly choked when i read this question.

all i can assume is that u r one of those ARSEnal fans blinded by the truth that ur team is worthless....

little baby fabregas????? the best??? omg....lol...
*laughs for 5 minutes then starts typing again*

fabregas is not even close to the best midfielder.
try:

C. Ronaldo & Paul Scholes ---> THE BEST!!!!
Ryan Giggs
Steven Gerrard
Frank Lampard
Michael Ballack
Xavi Alonso

i'm getting tired now.......i can't bother to type the other 20 or so names.....

geez.....what a question *resumes laughter*

No, he's well behind Ronaldo, Gerrard, Scholes and Lampard.

However he does have the potential to be just as good as the above.

He is good but the best has been Scholes. He has really done a great job this season.
