He has suffered from Bulimia during the beginning of the 80's.
Some say it a form of Jinn. Others say he is a gifted longlasting con-artist, making lots of bucks. What are your thoughts about it?

I am adding that if he is not for real, than he is not a psychic but a psychopathic personality with borderline traits. Maybe a tad narcisistic. Also be bit delusional at times.

The force is not authentic. Uri Geller is a gifted magician and showman. Period.

Don't read anything more into it that that.

If you want to learn how to bend a spoon like Uri, go to metacafe where they explain a lot of magic tricks.

Part of Uri Geller's schtick is being "psychic", and he just gives his audience the entertainment that they want to see and believe.

When you actually see how magic tricks are done, it is a bit of a letdown, because we don't want to believe we can be misled by such incredibly lame tricks.

Myself, I prefer to let the hand be quicker than the eye, enjoy the show, and at least pretend for a moment that magic exists.

We all know the special effects in movies are not real, but it is fun to watch them anyway.

Why does it have to be a good or evil force? Couldn't it just be an exertion of his will effecting the spoon and causing it to bend. I have serious doubts that there are more than a few people in the world today that wield any sort of Satanic powers if anyone does at all. Satan just doesn't strike me as somebody that actually gives people magical powers unless he's got some really fancy plans for them. He seems more like the kind of guy that will seduce them with the offer of power and get their soul without any intention of giving them any sort of power whatsoever.

tricky to answer .... but , bending spoons and other stuf has a purpose ... usually most of te power related to attract people to think in magic extrasensorial or spiritual power is linked to a root from the demonic power tree , if we were talking in funny ilustrations i'd say thats a manifestaton of the dark side of the force ( yet the expression is not that wrong) , is there a good side ? if thats bad...then what's good? if holy spirit is a force what has been doing ? have you wondered ?

He would have to sit down in My kitchen and bend one of My spoons for me to even consider an opinion. If that was possible though there would be no good vs. evil to it. Just metaphysics.
