my chemical romance is neither punk emo or gothic....stop trying to classify bands into these ridiculous genres. emo isnt even a real word! what my chemical romance is, is good.

I'm not exactly sure, Green Day is Punk, Marilyn Manson is goth. I think that they are somewhere in between. I mean, their music is suppose to have a message I guess. I don't know exactly what you would "classify" them as, but they have really good music !

Emo maybe.gothic definetly not.just cause they wear a lot of black doesnt make them gothic.their music sounds nothing like gothic at all

It's neither. If you want to label it as anything (but why would you?) pop is adequate. It's not punk, or punk rock and CERTAINLY not emo!!! [spits]

My Chemical Romance is neither of these. It is alternative rock, although Gerard Way describes it as "violent, dangerous pop".
And mtd0501, go screw yourself. You obviously have no idea what good music sounds like.
