There are no unisex fish. All species of fish have males and females. As for fish that will go with a male betta, any small, peaceful community fish that won't pick on the betta will be fine. Bettas are actually very peaceful except with other bettas.

It's not a fish but you can get little water frogs.My betta didn't do anything,but if you don't want a frog just make sure the other fish aren't aggresive and don't put bettas w/ other bettas

no other fish go well with a male betta!!!!!!!! but if you can find a female betta they make a good fish in a community tank
