It has a sealed transmission so there is no dipstick
The fluid is designed to "last" the life of the transmission

No dipstick on your transmission, if you wish to check the level of the fluid, you have to be able to get under the car. If a lift is available, there is a plug on the back of the transmission. if you undo that plug, the fluid should be right at the hole. There is a plug on the front of the transmission. but that is a pressure side and you dont want to check the level from there.

There is no dipstick. You should never have to change the fluid during the life of the car. Changing the fluid is asking for trouble and you can't easily change the filter anyway. The guy that said you should change it at 50,000 miles doesn't know what he is talking about.

4T40-E trans has no dip-stick. ck it by removing 1/8 inch pipe plug at RH of trans where axle shaft comes out of trans.start it first, and be sure fluid is at operating temp,it should be slightly dripping out if its full.
