MVP - Alfonso Soriano (It's way too early to tell, but he is the most complete player in the MLB and might get 100-100-30-30.)

CY Young - AL - Rich Harden beating out Johan Santana; NL - Carlos Zambrano beating out Chris Carpenter.

Rookie of the Year - Easily Daisaku Matsuzaka in the AL, his biggest competition is his teamate Dustin Pedroia! Definately Chris Young in the NL. After him I'd say Homer Bailey.

Gold Glove - what? I can't do all of these positions!

Hank Aaron Award - I might be hated for this, but I'm going to say Barry Bonds because he'll break the record and is looking good in spring training OFF the juice.

Roberto Clemente Award - David Ortiz because he's always doing things in the Dominican and he nearly won last year.

Silver Slugger - Again, too many positions.

Relief Man - AL - Joe Nathan who always has a good season, NL - Let's go with Tom Gordon.

Comeback Player of the Year - AL - Rich Harden who will play his first full season in a while. NL - Ben Sheets should run away with it since he qualifies.

Manager of the Year Award - AL - Ron Washington who I can foresee leading the Rangers to contention in the AL West. NL- Grady Little - watch out for the Dodgers!

World Series MVP - Ugh... So early... I'll pick Johan Santana because I have a feeling about the Twins this year. ALso, I look to the Cards making it back, so maybe Pujols?

All-Star Game MVP - David Ortiz should hit one or two into the pond, eh?

This Year in Baseball Awards - uggh more stuff why didn't you put your guesses? But it's easy, because it's fan voting, players from NY or Boston always win.

Closer - Mariano Rivera
Starter - Andy Petitte
Post-season Moment - Daisaku Matsuzaka shuts out Oakland in game 5 of first round.
Defensive Player of the Year - Even though Mark Ellis will deserve it again, it'll go to Julio Lugo.
Setup Man - Justin Duchsherer
Hitter - Derek Jeter who will probably have as high an average again. (And NY players win too much.)
Best Play - Derek Jeter makes a ground ball stop! (hahahaha)
Blooper - Derek Jeter misses a routine ground ball stop! (hahahaha)
Rookie - Dice-K
Performance - Barry Bonds when he hits his homer, finally. (Ugh.)
Manager - Joe Torre?

Delivery Man of the Year - Joe Nathan who gets the final 6 outs (9 and 10 innings) of game 7 of the 2007 World Series vs the Minnesota Twins and St. Louis Cardinals.

I'm a die-hard Oakland A's fan, but I tried to be as objectionable as possible in this. I know this won't get me the best answer, but David Ortiz will never, ever win MVP as a DH, so unless he plays 1B, keep dreaming Sox fans. You can't be MVP and play only half the time, period.

Funny thing about Baseball.

Each team plays 162 games a year, and even more amazing
is that boston is NOT the only team in MLB.
(shhhhhhhhhhhhh...dont tell boston fans. they think they own the world now that they spent more than the yankmes).

Why dont you ask this question in late september,
thanks.
