Well when u r with him or talkng to him flirt with him a little...let him know u r interested...
u asked about the call...so i guess..
Start with a casual Hi as u do usually....u can say 'u like him'...appreciate him a bit...say things u like about him...let him say too smething that he likes abt u...
talk sweet...act a bit girly...shy...
continue this for a certain time....then maybe he will ge the hint,,,and whn u know he has got it...jsut go for the real words..

Much easier to do face to face than over the phone....because there are so many other distractions....like the weather, appearance, cars, needing assistance.
