I would like to know things such as how much average items costs to understand the exchange rate better.

Cheers.

My cousin moved to Africa, but she lives in a little hut provided by her church. She said that if you go to the grocery store they have everything we have, but they jack up the price. Other stuff like; rice and cous cous is all cheap because only the locals buy it.
So she said if you want to buy pantine pro v shampoo its way way more expensive then there own brand of shampoo, but you can't use their shampoo because its for their own type of hair. So, your forced to buy the expensive stuff.

I think you might want to narrow that down a little bit. Id say maybe Eygpt, Nigeria, South Africa may be the most expensive but maybe the best thing to do would be to find some websites that sell some things online, do the conversion to aussie dollars and see
