Perhaps we Americans should follow the example set by the Iraqis. Maybe we should start celebrating life again and quit with all the gloom and doom.
Nothing brings a culture together more than life celebrations.

This would lead a resonable person to believe they are beginning to feel safer, that the surge and the increased Iraqi military presence is having the desired effect on their safety.

Polls show that those in Bagdad do believe they are winning the war with our help, they would like us to leave, as would everyone else, but they want the job completed first.

I wish congress would listen to them.

I can almost mouth the words in sync to any lib asked about the war in Iraq. The first three words are, "Because President Bush Our presence in Iraq has caused turbulance like never before! All was peace and light in Iraq before President Bush sent our troops over there. Look at this picture of Chemical Ali and Sadaam handing out candy to the children and flowers to the women!"

I guess if I'd lived my life in a war zone for 5 years then I probably wouldn't care if I got killed while having fun. They do need to have some escape from the constant violence. Where's my carnival? I do hope they have a peaceful time. That would be nice for just one day.

Actually it is FAUX News that says there is a civil war.

When surveyed only 30% of Iraqis said there is a civil war.
90% said it was a Holy War.

And what a perfect time to bring WMD free democracy.

I totally agree with you. I won't have more justification until I can get it from Hannity on Monday. So whatever Hannity says I agree with. Thinking for yourself is so over rated. Liberals do everything the hard way. They need to find someone else to do the thinking and come up with their arguments the way we Cons do. I sleep well at night knowing that Bush is looking in on me......I mean looking out for me. If it wasn't for Bush, those terrorists would be over here bombing our nusing homes and trying to kill all the puppies and kittens in the United States. You liberals are so diluted. Hey, everybody needs to get their mind off of the horrible circumstances that surround you once in a while, and the Muslims are very big on holidays or holy days.
