Not panic! I'm an OK swimmer but I grew up in Minnesota - the land of 10,000 lakes... there are no waves. I went to Wisconsin Dells once where they had a wave pool and I didn't know what to do! I practically drowned! Not really but it was scary. I stayed in the shallow end. :)
