do you think you could outrun/smart the cops?

not a serious question, but i think weve all thought about when we saw a chase on tv

do you think you could outrun or outsmart the cops? how would you do it?

i think i could if i had a capable car.. i wouldnt need a sports car or a well done tuner, maybe just something like a celica

id first try to outrun them, and if i were unable to shake them id drive to a movie theater and run in with my shirt covering my head (so they couldnt make an id) and then run out through one of the fire doors in one of the theatres.. and if it wasnt my car, id certainly get away, and if it was id then just get a good lawyer and probly get off or plead quite a bit down

You can't outrun a radio! I have two stories.
Speeding in Quogue to bring my GF home when I was maybe 17, I see the cop pull out slowly and figure I can ditch down this side road. So I do... I make a quick left, then a quick right and pull into the first driveway I see and cut the lights. Unfortunately, the driveway was pretty visible from the road and he pulled up, got out (GUN DRAWN) and had me do the hands on the hood thing. He was a little angry because I made him spill his briefcase on the floor. I talked my way out of it (as usual), told him how my GF's dad was a lunatic and would be so mad if she was late to come home.
Moral of story, most cops are pretty smart... He saw no tail lights on the first long road and knew I had to be down the road to the right.

Second shorter story... Met a punk azz kid in court (18yrs old, I was in my mid 20's at this point). He was doin 140 on a speedbike when the lights came on, he said he hit the exit ramp doin over 100 cut around and got back on highway goin opposite direction. They kept tabs on him by radio (maybe chopper too, I'm not sure) and eventually caught up to him. If I didn't have to get back to work, I would have loved to hear the judge hand him his a**.

Moral issue... If you aren't a nascar driver then you have no idea how to drive at high speeds. If you try to beat a speeding ticket or possesion of a doobie, and you end up KILLING a minivan full of preschoolers, I will personally come after you and rip your friggin lips right off your face.

I've successfully ditched the cops on a number of occasions. They always like to show episodes on TV that offer police success, but the cops aren't that hard to ditch depending upon the circumstances. Of course, once they begin to team up, and the ghetto bird takes to the air, it becomes increasingly difficult.

Yes my car is not only fast, its tricked out with this thing that I invented that makes the air injection pump inject a chemical into the exaust, this produces an awesome smoke screen. They would have to stop because they cant see where they're going.

i have before and i am sure if i had to i could again but I've mellowed out alot since i turned eighteen. once you're 18 stuff like that actually starts to matter cause if caught you go to prison instead of kiddie jail.

i doubt anyone would get away nowadays. ive see real cop shows and if the person outruns the police, they just get the helicopters in.

depends on the cops. If they really wanna get you they will.rare cases might escape

first you have to set up a fake trail with donuts,then commit the crime and go the other way
