the lead guitarist, ritchie blackmore, was in deep purple and rainbow
he's in blackmore's night now
they're a kind of mixture of medievil/renaissence/folk/rock
not exactly what you'd expect from ritchie but it's very nice music
if you have heard it do you like it?

Yes,I own their castles&dreams DVD.I love the music, very original and Candice has a great voice.

I haven't listened to his music but I have heard of Blackmore's Night and knew that it was founded by lead guitarist Ritchie Blackmore from Deep Purple (and this was before you typed the details)

why wouldn't you expect that from ritchie,look at his live solos from the past....twentith century green sleeves.....hid did someother baroke stuff but its too damn early in the morning for my brain to work......but i do agree that it's pretty different.
