the toddler would be fantastic as long as she quits the habit now. eating in specific circumstances before you have found out you're pregnant occurs to even person women people who're no longer actively attempting to conceive, and as long by way of fact the habit would not proceed, each thing would be fantastic. i'd additionally inspire your chum to give up smoking or a minimum of cut back decrease back considerably with a view to stay away from various the beginning defects which would be linked with smoking. that's finished! I went chilly turkey once I found out i became pregnant with #a million. Your chum truly desires to get some prenatal care, and contained meanwhile she will bypass to the food market and purchase a bottle of being pregnant supplements (that are important in making a healthful toddler) Please in simple terms make beneficial she is going to a dr., none people can assure wellbeing, she desires to be below a dr.'s care

Any amount of cigeratte smoke affects your baby. It makes the birth weight lower and it also effects the umbilical cord (the way the baby gets nutrition and oxygen from you). I have seen baby's from mothers who smoke 2 packs a day and some from mothers who only smoke a pack a week, the mothers who smoke more give more effect to thier babies, where the mothers who smoked less had less effect. I know there are effects (from working in the Neonatal ICU) on your baby and I would stop for the health of your baby. I am a current smoker and from the babies that I have seen from mom's who smoke I would NEVER keep smoking if I was to become pregnant!!!!!!

You really should stop altogether for your health and the babies health. You should not smoke once the baby is born either as they have it can cause lots of other health problems if you smoke around the baby after it is born. Why not just quit for good. What happens if you get COPD while the baby is young or worse yet lung cancer..............who will be there to take care of the baby? Think of everyones health.l

I'm a nurse and I know this is a difficult task. The health of your baby is at stake and try really hard to quit. The baby could be under developed, be born with many problems and even die still born. I know you will make the right decision, after all your babies very life depends on it. Take care and all the best.

Yes it does. Even if you are not pregnant at the moment, second hand smoke can harm the baby.

most definately!!! i know of people staying with smokers while they were pregnant and the second hand smoke caused them to have low birthweight babies, asthmatic babies, etc... growing up i knew of a girl born without legs or fingers, i was told that was caused by her mother smoking (a rather extreme example, i'm sure, but something to know about if it's possible....)

I know from personal experience how difficult it is to quit. Since you're pregnant it's even more important for you to give it up, and you need to make sure that you're getting plenty of vitamin C while you're in the process of quitting.

You really need to stop now!
I know it's hard but you will feel guilty if you don't.
If your really serious, but only if you are commited to giving your baby the best, try this course it has worked for a couple of friends of mine....very effective if you want to stop now.
