says "Do not use if seal is broken", shouldn't the bottle be thrown out immediately after opening?

Isn't that a similar dilemma to the ingredients on the soybean bottle having the allergen warning that "product contains soy"?

no it means if you bought the bottle only to realize it was open when you bought than don't us it.
