Many Christians don't believe in extraterrestrial life since scripture strongly implies that no intelligent life exists elsewhere. Earth was created to be home for creatures made in God the Creator's image, according to the Bible.

Another reason is that, despite spending millions of dollars on research, NASA and others have not found the slightest proof for life anywhere but Earth. Some people find it impossible to believe in anything without concrete proof.

The fact that there is an on going search for life outside of our solar system shows that many people do believe, despite there being only anecdotal evidence. One has only to weigh the odds, disregard biblical stories, look at the night sky, and wonder. I strongly believe there is life out there. One reason is that no one has proven that exraterrestrial life DOESN'T exist, and until that happens, I'm a believer.

For the same reason that some people still take the Bible as absolute truth, despite proof otherwise....stubborness. They choose to believe what they want to, and no amount of proof otherwise is going to convince them that they are wrong.

If more people would look at new informations with an open mind, THEN make a decision based on fact, not hype, this world would probably be a better place. But we both know that isn't going to happen anytime soon, so we just have to be satisfied with the knowledge that we (at least some of us) have enough sense to think for ourselves.

Even though there are trillons of stars and planets in the universe, you can't assure a single living thing out there. B'cause the formation of life in earth is purely coincidence.

First of all when the earth was formed there was no single living cell. Scientists belive that there was a pre-mature soup and once the lighting stiked on it the living cell was formed. the difference between ordinary and living cell is that the living cell can double itself.

Scientist won't belive that life was formed on a single day.But there are chances for existence of life but you cannot assure that there would be people like us talking, walking, answering questions.

Let us consider there is a life form in a distant galaxy some billions of light years away.If we try to send people there in a space craft that would travel in speed of light(light speed can,t be exeeded), it would take thousands of years to reach them. This would be the reslt if they would try...........

So there is any life form out there might be some life out there. And might not be..............

I believe it's mathematically impossible that there is no "life" on any other planet.
But I think the answer has to do with religious beliefs.

there are atleast 4 simple answers for that question:
1. many are very ignorant
2. many arent even aware that there are billions of other universes that exist/ many dont believe its true
3. people dont WANT to believe it because they are afraid of that particular thought or idea... either fear of the unknown or the thought that we are not alone, just to name a few.
4. religion... they have a very ridiculously narrow idea of what is in existence: our earth (or empty universe), heaven, and hell.... most importantly, this idea would go against everything religion has taught them, placing religion on very shaky grounds... i dont have to even explain this part of the story.

Because their little minds cannot grasp such vastness. It truly is mind blowing if you stop and think about it.
