Why be that way? Why be so rude? I don't get it....can't we discuss something without tearing someone apart and calling them brain-dead, nut-job or a communist? I am so shocked at how utterly rude and flat out MEAN some Liberals have been to me. Are they all this way or are the ones on YA giving others a bad rap?

you seem to have selective piety.
i just came onto answers and in the first 15 minutes i have seen at least seven different 'questions' that are really just rants and insults towards democratic politicians and liberals and independent voters.
it seems that any who didn't vote for bush or no longer actively support him are open game to the most base insults, distortions and outright lies.
i have seen dems out here being blamed for literally all of the world's problems, whether in america or not.
you seem to think that it's only dems who do the mud slinging - i'm here to point out that i see quite a lot of irrational posts pointed towards them as well.
i can't understand why you fail to see that - or perhaps i know all too well and that you too are just another insincere yahoo answers poster who is not really out here to ask or answer questions, but only to advance a political agenda.

politics dude. Grow up. Actually, most of the insulting comments come from reps, but that's cause more republicans are on here.
Whenever you put one thing b4 everything else, you get defensive about it. Whether that be your political party of religous affilliation. So there's your answer. Simply put, this place is politically charged. You wouldn't be here if you weren't interested in politics.

maybe you should read more questions, from what I've seen republicans are just as disrespectful to democrats...only most republican "insults" are false and just plain ignorant accusations by people that just go along with party lines...some Dems do the same thing, they're just more original and educated with their insults and facts.

It is purely intolerance to dissenting points of view, they will shout you down if you disagree, they will report you to YA if you disagree, they will seek to eliminate your first amendment right if you disagree.
