I have recently purchased an official nintendo wii hd component cable. I have conected to the component video (Y,Pb and Pr) and audio jacks but no sound.
I have a Philips 42pf7621d hdtv.
Can anyone help please

Did you be certain you probably did not screw up the purple(pink) video cable with the main magnificent audio cable? be certain which you probably did that (some low-value cables make those cables a similar shade. If this is not working, you cable it defective.

You should be getting sound, are you sure you have the cables hooked up right? I ordered one of those and had no problem with it at all.
