Are women more emotional than men?

Are women more emotional than men? Or do women just express their emotions more than men do?

No, women are simply more expressive than men. Men are taught to be inhibated with their emotions, but men do not feel less emotions than women and men are often controlled by their emotions and are not more capable of being reasonable than woman. It's just the way we are 'trained'. Boys are not to cry and girls better damn well cry or they are considered 'weird' or 'tomboys'. It's depressing really, for both men and women, but I won't be my own buzz kill!

I think men can be just as emotional as women. The difference is that men express these emotions in different and sometimes more subtle ways. Or they may not get emotional over the same things as women. Also, I think it is harder to decipher when a male feels emotional and what exactly is bothering them, but for a woman, it is often clearer how they feel and what is causing them to be emotional.

yes women are usually way more emotional then men... I feel this is true. Men can be emotional at times but they also can control their emotions usually much better then women as well. I feel that women are emotional beings moreso then men and that men are sexual beings moreso then women. Yes women usually do express their emotions more then men but i have seen some men pretty good and expressing how they feel at times. Men are emotional at times i have seen but they usually hide them better and do not show them no where near as much as most women do. Great question by the way... This one makes me think.

Of course women are more emotional! We stress over the tiniest things to the biggest things. Issues like when we get up in the morning and ponder what we are going o wear if we ere too rude to the lady at the post office when we were i a hurry, what we are going o cook for dinner, am i looking older than yesterday. Does my husband think I'm good looking... do my kids hate me... Yes!!! woman are WAY more emotional than men, just ask one.

No, I don't think there's evidence for that. Most implicit tests of emotion show pretty much the same emotions. Women are just either better or it's more socially acceptable at the moment for women to express or show emotion, which is not the same thing.

Men are both equally emotional, however they express it differently. Women are taught that it's OK to be emotional and Men are taught that it is a weakness, therefore women outwardly express emotion and men tend to show it in gesture and action.

Women tend to be more emotional than men but you need to realize nowadays Men are starting to express their feelings and emotions just as much as women. Think about all that therapy men have spent soo much money on, now they realize its as simple as this. JUST SPEAK YOUR MIND. Eliminates the shrink. My opinion.
