man can swim in water (a fluid) he should also be able to manupulate the air(also a fluid) to fly. i'd also like to know how and why gravity is overcomed to an extent in water

Gravity is not reduced in water, its actually a force in water which reduces your weight there so you only feel lighter.
But as you say i am dead sure gravity will be manipulated some day.
PS- that force in water is called buoyancy

I hope one day that the force of gravity on earth disappears, scattering us in space as the garbage of a once beautiful planet.

Of coarse it can. We can put you in one of those spinney wheel things and it will hold you again the wall. You might want to puke after wards, but it will hold you up. That is us manipulating gravity.
