if you are picking a first name with 3 syllables (samantha, alannah) then it sounds better if the middle name only has one or two syllables.
For laura, her middle name should have either 1 or 3 syllables because her first name has 2.
There is no "standard rule" for this type of thing, but in spending many years researching baby names, they tend to flow better when you do it this way.
As for the names you listed, I personally like:
