I have been 2 or 3 times and would say it is alright but nothing special. The chicken is possibly a bit too dry and the portions are rather small.

Nando's food is pre made in factories and not made in the restaurant.
It is, as you say, ok but nothing special.
Probably about the same quality as a decent ready meal from a supermarket.

Nandos is very big in South Africa (where it originates...based on the Portuguese cuisine of Mozambique).
There are better chicken meals about BUT the starters tend to be first rate. Avoid the veggie burgers...

Nando's is possible the skanikiest 'resturaunt' i have been to ever. if you can call it a resturaunt. the portions would feed a baby mouse, the quality of food and service is discraceful so stop me before i get nasty.
