They, the Democrats have never supported the military. They have a track record for dismantling the military. If you had listened to the Democratic senators during the Walter Reed Hospital investigation, you would have seen them admit they new about the problems at the Military and VA Hospitals from GAO Reports but said nothing about fixing the problems. It could be a long recitation but I will give you a break.

I couldn't believe the things they tried to load into this Bill! But apparently this happens all the time - to get support from some representatives, they insert completely unrelated "stocking stuffers" in the interests of particular districts/states into major legislation.
It's almost as disgusting as pharmaceutical companies which bribe doctors between $10,000 and $1,000,000 each every year to promote their drugs (especially those doctors who sit on FDA panels), then consumers end up having to pay outrageous prices for the drugs to cover the bribes!
Hey, I just noticed here that hardly anybody else here seems to know what you're talking about! Don't people read or listen to the news anymore (yourself excepted, obviously!)?

The US has propped up agricultural prices and farm loans at least since the 1950's in order to ensure that the country has sufficient working farmland to produce during drought or other bad conditions.
Why do you all not know this?
It is a proper function of a government - to manage resources against food shortages.
