We need current styles of greeting cards,pattetrns for gift boxes, and designs for baby onsies and tee shirts. We want to purchase designs from ones submitted. But we don't know where to find artists to contact. Our search locally has not been beneficial.

The appropriate place for posting an artist request would be an Artists Wanted, or A Call For Entries.
There are many listings like this, and a search in this format will put you in front a very specific audience looking to meet your needs. I listed two different examples to give you some ideas- there are lots!

Open a contest up offer a 1st, 2nd and 3rd monetary prize. It doesn't have to be significent. Promise their name on the first prize winner with $100 dollars that will keep an artist in paint and brushes for at leat 6 months. Put it in the local paper.
Also tell the local colleges to inform the graphic art students they love to compete too.

There are Artists there who are into EVERY media you can imagine!
A very active source for you!
Simply JOIN and Post your info on the Message board that averages hundreds of postings weekly!
