I haven't seen anything under that name for awhile, since about 2002. She-- well, he, because that was a pen name for a male writer-- did about three different series, the best known of which are the cat ones. There was also one about a vet.

The books stopped coming out in hardback and were paperback only, which usually indicates they weren't selling well enought in hc.

I want to say that the author's real name was Frank King, but I could be wrong about that.

He could well still be writing under another name.
