It's really a matter of what you are looking for. I don't think one is better than the other, you might find one item at hottopic that you like better than the similar item at abercrombie, and vice-versa. I'm a mom with a 13 year old son...but I still keep up with the trends and my son thinks I have pretty good taste. The shoes are great for you...especially if you like them. My son is really into being "in-style" and does a really good job. I know that he would absolutely love these shoes, in fact, I just ordered him a very similar pair that he picked out from a CCS magazine for his birthday. He likes both of these stores and there is another one named Pacific Sun..not sure where you live and not sure if these stores(pacific sun) are everywhere like the other two..but I think they also have some pretty cool stuff. Might have a web-site, not sure. But, in my opinion, the shoes rock!

Neither is my fav since some of Abercrombie stuff looks like it was rejected by Goodwill.
Sorry, just don't understand the "distressed look"
But, I am not into S/M either so I can't think of anything at H.T. that I would want.
I know those are generalizations, but that's what I see when I walk into those stores.
And what's with the loud music? You have to yell when shopping with a friend.

Hot Topic, definitely. Why go to abercrombie and look like a clone. Those shoes are pretty kick @ss. I have a pair of DVS myself, they're very comfortable. A lot of people have "skater shoes" but not many people have DVS brand shoes. I hate looking like other people. So yeah, definitely get those shoes.

ABERCROMBIE!!!!!! This is because I am a girl and I LOVE brands, and springy colors. I do not like the shoes I would rather have the ones on this site (below).

Personally, I like Abercrombie better! I like the shoes that funtrendsetter picked out too! The shoes you like are okay though!

Well since ambercrombie is part of the large group of speciality clothing stores that uses child slave labor, I'd have to say Hot Topic who doesn't. I'd never wear anything ambercrombie sells n-e-wayz.

BTW the other known companies/locations who use slave labor are The Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Forever 21, Tommy Hillfiger and Cal State Long Beach's logo clothing. Oh and on the topic of ethically immoral places, allow me to add that the TGI Fridays corporation discriminates against interracial couples and gay people as well as the disabled.

abercrombie is better...well i think so! u must be like a punk skater girl kinda person if you want those shoes. I'm not saying that's a bad thing....I'm just saying that u have to be punk and skater to wear those shoes and shop at hottopic.....which I'm not!

Abercrombie has a much better environment, and better quality clothes, but if you prefer getting something with more individualist appeal, then I suppose Hot Topic wins.

i would rather shop at hot topic, abercrombie is gay, i hate all the people in there when ya walk in, they all have their noses stuck up each others asses. the shoes are all right, if your a skater, but i like the polka dot etnies that the other girls link went to, i was actually already looking at buying them before, so cute.
