No. I have never heard of such substances being emitted, and I have no reason to suspect that they do.

In any case, specific manufacturers put warnings in the user's manual if there are special considerations. Just be sure to read them if you are not familiar with this or any technology.

Nothing harmful for what I know. But if the company seems to make a mistake it could, but not too harmful. The worst that happened was an exploding battery that nobody got hurt from.

do you think the FDA would allow computers to be produced if they emitted harmful substances when they are used??? that's a stupid question... no offense...

the only one that i know is te radiation being emitted by the laptop. this can easily resolved by avoiding using your laptop on your lap.

Men's shud keep the laptop near those points and work ....it might even make impotent ....
