hi. i just came into middle school last year myself. i have 3 suggestions.
1.) Practice at home- Memorize your schedule, If you have it your lock combination, how to open a locker, and if possible through summer school, walk through the hallways to each class or get a map to plan the quickest way to each class. Pretend like you have a day of school and time how long it takes you to Get Dressed, Have breakfast, basically get ready for school and if you don't ride the bus, go to school. subtract this time and 15-20 minutes from your school's start time. That's when you get up. DON'T GET UP AT 4:15 LIKE I DID. BAD IDEA.
2.) Keep up with old friends. Friends are what keep everyone going and smiling, lost friends are a lost smile.
3.) Have fun! The most important rule of all, relax, the teachers usually give you a week's grace.
Since you are in different classes with different teachers, usually the day goes by faster. :-) Have a nice new school year when it comes. Relax, you are over reacticting like 99.999999999999999999999999% of people do. The teachers have one job, to help their students learn and grow. If they can help you, they will.

Don't get scared, middle school is fun just hang out with your friends and have fun. I remember when I was going to middle school. I hanged out with my friends and I had lots of fun. And I'll give you a little advice: don't like a guy that does not like you back. Oh, and there is going to be some drama in Middle School. Good luck!!!!

The only thing that's different about it is it's more spread out with different teachers for all the different classes and less time in a single room (home room) with a single teacher.

Homeroom in high schools is a 15 mintue a day joke. They rest of the time you're walking from class to class.

The main thing is don`t try to be someone your not, be yourself and find friends that are interested in the same things that you are like shopping, movies and just hanging out. I know it seems scary now but everybody is as nervous as you are. Hang in there and best of luck.

Don't worry! highschool is the thing to worry about. everyone is mean and too harsh on me :,(. Middleschool is just getting ready for highschool. Believe me, in middleschool you will feel more freedom. The only thing that will change is that you will have to go from class to class, and you have a teacher for each subject. believe me, you will be FINE!! :)
