Be yourself, express & share your interests. Don't work too hard to please other people just because you may want to be popular. As your real confidence shows through more people will notice you. If you don't feel like you have much confidence try some new things like sports, art, etc. to find something new that you have a lot of fun with. That will help your confidence level alot!
Hair & nails are fun but being confident, kind and genuine are the best and most positive ways to get noticed.

Just be yourself. Always be honest in what you are doing. This will build integrity. Don't get to involved in clicks. Try to be the person that can hang with any group. That worked for me in school and I found that I was known (not real well) by all, and I think respected for my craziness. (Joking attitude)
But for me when I was that age it was all about developing my hero walk, everyone has to have one.

im in 6th grade also wear something taht fits your personality but try to fix your hair a way you wouldnt. get your nail done. youll sure o be noticed im extra popular so believe me
