I majored in general business so yes my major was relevant to the small business consulting that I do.

Maybe you have to re-work your resume, or have someone "give" you a job (or pull you into the company they work for or own) so that you can get started, then try here: http://www.engineeringjobs.net/electrical_engineering_jobs.cfm or http://electrical-engineer-jobs.dice.com/ or http://www.miscojobs.com/jobs/L_2/C_3/job_240579.htm

No. I got a B.A. in psychology from a college with a liberal admissions policy. I forgot about 90% of what I learned, but it doesn't matter cause it never got me a job. I have actually gotten more jobs by leaving the college box blank on job applications, and saying that I was a clam digger since I graduated high school. If I had it to do over again I would have gone to college in Hawaii and paid for everything with student loans, that I wouldn't have to pay back because I declared bankruptcy. The most useful thing about college was the student credit card I got, without an income check. I screwed that bank out of thousands!

No only about 5%. The OP didn't even count for me to get into uni, I had to audition to get in the class I wanted. But I didn't go to uni in the end. And my most of my schooling didn't help my work. I'm even changing careers (so I'm studying again) and already what we have been told that most of what we are learning we don't use in this job, but to qualify for the position we must know this. Its crazy learn stuff we will never use just to qualify.

Gosh, what a questioner you are right now! You know me pretty well and what I do. My degree is in psychology, so yes, it helps in my work but I am not a practicing psychologist so what I went to school for was right, though I changed it up to suit what I wanted to *do*. Does that make sense?
