Give each child a small picture of an elephant. Tell them that the elephant has escaped from the zoo and the zoo-keepers need to get it back. How will they get the elephant back to the zoo? Get the children to stick their elephant onto a piece of A4/A3 paper and draw their ideas around it. I have had radio-controlled peanuts that lead the elephant back to the zoo - all sorts!! It really gets their creative juices going and they love explaining their pictures to their peers. Enjoy!! (NB Despite the name I am a primary teacher who works primarily with 4-7 year olds - the bees are a sideline...)
