What is more pathetic: Conspiracy theorists, Doomsday theorists, or a Terrorist behind every bush theorists?

It seems most people today fall into one of those three groups. Either our own government is plotting against us, or the forces of nature are trying to eliminate us, or a group of unknown individuals outside of the country is trying to kill us.
Is this a result of the politics of fear? Has joining a bowling league been replace in America by joining a panic group instead?

Defeat-mongers who close their eyes and pretend their families and friends are safe, that America has no enemies other than Bush, that 9/11 and all the other events before were flukes, that our border is secure and foreign policy is of no concern, that terrorists just want to be understood and left alone, that this is not a religious war ...

Those who think that Iran is a nation of peace ... that the president of Iran prayed for peace as he closed his remarks at the UN ... not Armageddon ... those who are asleep to all of this, they are the pathetic.

what is pathetic is people who refuse to look at the evidence that suggests elements of the government were involved in the attacks on 9/11. those people are enabling the real criminals to get away with their crimes

If homeland security is serious about protecting us, why is the border WIDE OPEN?

Its the people who profit from this nonsense . The conspiracy theorists have leaders who sell books and products and its a big industry .
Religion , the doomsday people from hell are sticking it to the faithful followers one dollar at a time . Living in mansions flying in jets around the world and taking pictures to use as advertising the good work they do to get even more money .

As far as the frightened people go who see terrorists behind every bush , they also see bank robbers drug dealers sex offenders and criminals everywhere . SO the government expands to build armies and prisons put more police on the street and it profits by growing larger .
The government is like a virus . It will continue to grow as long as it has something to feed off of .
Since fear is a great motivator the government is expert at using this ,and since so many people are afraid of their own shadow it is easy .
Religion and some conspiracy theorist play right into this fear helping promote the virus that is taking over .
Government can be beneficial as long as it is kept in check .
We need insects , rodents ,scavengers to clean things up .
But we also have to keep the numbers in check .
We can do this by not being wasteful and cleaning up our own mess .
This will cut down on the size of government and keep it in check .
Government needs only provide 5 years of education not twelve . This would save billions .
After that people are free to pursue additional education on there own .
See after fifth grade education becomes indoctrination and it is at this point people are told wild tails .
The great stories of the explorers "imperialist soldiers of fortune is more like it " .
How we tamed America , "more like stole it out from under the Indians and committed a terrible genocide ".
How we freed the slaves during the civil war "more like separate but equal until the civil rights movement in the 60's a hundred years later . "
The truth of the civil war was the northern cities where designed around communal living and factory work . While the southern states an agrarian style labor intensive style of living .
While factories sprung up one after another competition for resources stretched thin .
Business owners went south to find supplies of food and materials and saw how the agrarian style people where living .
They had huge homes vast yards and beyond fields of food . A rather nice life . This bothered the crowded city dwellers because the south had it so good .
See with farms you plow and plant and wait to harvest with little to do in between . So slave owners plowed and cleared more untamed land and used the trees to build huge homes furniture and other durable goods . They had it great .
All this from the slave labor . Except to keep the slaves happy they had to insure that the slaves had shelter clothing and nutrition and health care . Cause people being people If a man in the field was hurt say by a falling tree everyone stopped working to comfort the injured man . So the slave owner had to help him out to get the most production from the rest of the workers .
So his foreman told everyone to go back to work and the master will see to this mans injuries do not worry . This was a good slave owner who knew the value of a mans work . Wanted him healthy well fed and cared for .
Some slave owners where not as kind --I call them republicans . They took the injured man away quickly and put the people back to work fast . Decided it would cost to much to fix him and another slave was for sale cheaper . So the slave died .
They had no clue about relationships and team spirit for them it was about the profit .
These northern republicans came south , saw the life and wanted in on it . Because they treated the slaves poorly and did not understand the relation ship between slave and master they failed . Now returning to the north and abusing the workers there they became bitter and said why should those folks in the south have the good life when I have to work so hard keeping my factory going . I know its the free labor they have .
Well they did not understand that nothing is free . That it cost time and some money to care for the slaves . That after food shelter clothing and medical care are taken care of the slaves had it pretty good as well .
So they failed to assimilate into the southern life so they had to trash it . Thats right !! It was an economic war against the south started over jealousy of northern business owners . I call them the evil republicans who waned to destroy the southern way of life .
Is this a conspiracy theory or the reality of the situation .

I am affraid that teaching kids the truth would somehow cause the size of government to dwindle down to little more then a defense system .

Terror is just a Bush political abatement tactic, it has no more validity with the Bush lies he has told. The cat's out of the bag so to speak. There has as long as I was in the military there was always some type of crisis someplace. We always called this crime. Bush and the architect Karl Marx Rove have just upped the ante and instilled fear with the word terror like in a Clive Barker Horror film....It's all fiction.

Interesting question. The only one that can somewhat be proven is that terrorists want to kill us. I fall in that category.
