Growth of technology, a boon or bane to the hospitality industry?

I travel a lot and it is a definite boon to those who embrace it. Wireless internet is probably the ONLY requirement I have when I travel. Further, if you look at how most reservations are made these days, over the internet, I can only speculate that they have benefitted immensely from this technology.
