That they go to the movies alone! Some people do not want to be pestered if they pay $12 to watch a flick.
They might even.. dare I say it... go to restaurants alone!
What is the world coming to?

Theaters are crowded and usually half-full of screaming kids, and there's no pause button should you need to use the restroom, not to mention outrageous concession prices, so why anyone would want to go to a theater alone or otherwise is beyond me.

I go to the movies alone and I tend to enjoy it more than when I am with friends.

I don't think much, maybe their friends or family are working or busy and the person just wants to see the movie.

i think they are smart, they are the only ones who get to watch the movie in relative peace. Everytime you go with someone they chat, wanna know if you want more pop corn and inevitably ask, well who is he, where did he come from, do you think he killed her blah blah

I have seen that before and I never thought much about it before. Why not go alone if you have no company to go with you?

I think it's best to go on your own as it's not a very social activity anyway.
