Last month I had the weirdest period. I began spotting light pinkish and light brown 4 days before my period. Barely even needed a panty liner. Then on the day I was expected for my AF I had light red bleeding. Then I had I guess what you would call a period for 3 days (only used 2 pads each day, which is far too little). My periods always last 4-5 days. I've never had spotting before my period and my period is always on time and never does crazy things like this. Eveyone I've talked to keeps telling me or asking me "are you pregnant" So do yall think I should still take HPT? I mean could I really be pregnant?

Yes I am sexually active. My boyfriend and I have been together for 1 yr and 1/2 and never use protection!

Hi i know lots of my friend that this happen and they did a pregnancy test and there were pregnant usually when its spotting like this it could mean your pregnant but just a few weeks so instead of starting the full lenght period its only spotting if i was you i would do a test nothing too lose right

Take the HPT if it makes you comfortable. Regardless of results, I would speak to your doctor. Any time you have abnormal periods there could be other things going on.
When mine are abnormal I end up with yeast or UTI. Mine are silent except for that one abnormality. I have had to learn that my body does not give the normal signs of these infections. Since you are sexually active they are common. It does not make you nasty to have them, women are carriers of alot of germs in the vaginal area that are completely normal.

Go ahead and take the test. What do you have to loose? You will only gain knowledge from the results.
Have you recently started birth control pills or shots?
If the test in negative and your cycle is weird again this next month consult you doctor.

i really think u should.
it's for the good.
but do u think u are pregnant?
there's nothing really for you to fear on taking a test,i mean it wont harm you anyhow.
it's for ur own good.
when ur positive, well at least you know u are in that condition.
you could plan things out and foresee things.
and definitely, if you'vr got ur plan out,i hope you'll be able to work it good.
if it's not positive, then you should consult your gynecologist or any specialist.
doctors know the best.

You don't mention if you are sexual active or not. Since you ask this question I would assume so. You should go ahead and buy a home pregnancy test to check. If it shows that you are pregnant then you should go to your gynecologist.

yes u should check if ur pregnant. my bf and i r sexually active and now im 9 weeks pregnant, we did use protection but it broke. so take the test and c if u r or not

If you had sex - there is a chance you could be pregnant.
And it's possible to bleed when you are.
So for your mind sake, take a pregnancy test asap.
