Stock exchange market in Vietnam seems very well-perform and attractive to domestic investors because many people become rich, double, tripple their equity after few trades. However, I don't see this market is charming. So far I can see some very basic problems: 1) Within couple of months, the eletric displays has been broken twice. Investors can't monitor their trades, their execution is not updated in timely manner 2) Internal trading and intenal info leakage: it like a joke! violators have gained advantage unfairly without any consequences. There is no any regulation, law to prevent those trading violations. 3) Trading by rumor and words of mouth: investors in VN just join in and trade following the crowd. "I see many people become rich trading stock, so I decide to become investor, buy me whatever you see people buy....." 4) Earning reports, financial reports are usually NOT submitted and there is none of international accounting firm to audit and certify those stocks....
there are more of emerging market problems so watch out! Wait and see the bubble bust within months if not weeks

WHAT do i think about the vn stock exchange?....i know its "unamerican "to feel this way but i think people should only "invest" in themselves......first off :its more honorable than investing and proffiting from anothers work, secondly : if your not a real player YOU WILL GET BURNNED ! other than that viet nam itself is becomming more trustworthy and sofisticated by the day.. do you homework , read the fine print become an expert in the subject BEFORE you jump in...
