College is a time of exploration. If you pick a major and decide that you don't like it, you can change it. I would go for it if I were you. Usually when people are passionate about something they take the good with the bad because they know that they're dreams are worth it. I'd make sure to have a little face time with my professors at the beginning of the semester, let them know that you're serious and that you are interested in extra help outside of class. Good luck and don't limit yourself, you deserve better than that!

Aeronautical engineering IS math. If you're not good at math, or if you don't like math, DON'T go into aeronautical engineering. All engineering takes lots of math, but aeronautical takes the most. It's some of the hardest math, too, unfortunately.
The problem is that, being in high school, you can't really know what lots of careers are actually like. So you judge by results (the cool planes), not process (all the math you need to build the plane). The process is what the career is "like."
You could try an internship this summer at an aeronautical engineering firm--even an unpaid "gofer" one. This will show you what's involved and whether you'd like it or not. The military can offer aeronautical careers; if you put in a stint there, learning on the job, you may be able to pick up the math more easily through their training, and you'll have a marketable skill when you get out. You might even be able to get an engineering degree. I'd try Army Aviation.
The real question is why you want to be an aeronautical engineer. Or why you think you need to do chemistry. Is it because you think these will make lots of money? That's not a good way to decide.

Your past is not your future. Once you select a college, you will be given access to an academic advisor. Your first year of college will be spent taking your core classes, which are pretty basic no matter what your major.
Talk to your guidance counsellor at school about your senior year classes... pay attention to your classes even if you don't like the teacher. Tell your family that you have an idea of what you'd like to do, and run with it. You might find that this major isn't what you really like once you are in college. Most first year students change their minds anyhow. You've got to start somewhere and it's a great starting place!

College is different then high school and you may find you do much better at math there. Start at a community college and give it a try. They also have courses that can bring your math skills up to the level they need to be for engineering. Just remember your goal and that the math and chemistry is for that. It does make a difference.

In life, if you want something bad enough, and you know it's worth it, you'll go after it. No matter what anyone else says to do.If you aren't good at something, this is your chance to excel at that (for you being math). You might have to take that extra step, but it'll be worth it.

you should ought to stay with somebody who you could no longer stand. Your emotional properly-being is purely as significant as hers and she or he's attempting to make her needs extra significant than yours. the excellent element may be for the two one in each of you to seperate so as which you the two have a huge gamble to discover somebody who makes you the two better than happy.
