Paint a red dot so that it faces you when the lid is up, in the centre of the lid.
The act of painting it, and knowing the reason for doing it, will remind you everytime you see it, to put the seat, and lid down.
Atlernatively, go to the toilet sitting down, men can do that.

Well at least you put the toilet seat up! my b/f does'nt even bother to do that, and wee's all over the seat its discuting!
How about putting a big sign on the wall by the toilet! That might remind you, cause its not nice for a women to have to put up with! Good luck and I hope you start remembering!

LOL LOL LOL. This is just hilarious and adorable at the same time! Pretty soon you are gonna have bathroom anxiety. LOL Write a little sticky note and put it where the toilet is. Or have you girl get a cute decoration for the bathroom with the poem "be a sweetie wipe the seatie" That may help you to remember.

Put a sign up above the toilet. But tell her that the next guy she gets might not even lift the lids! My daughter and I lift the lids when we finish so that my man doesn't leave a little something on them.

Your girlfriend seems to be a bit of a drama queen. Yes falling into the toilet is aggravating- but not to the point where I'd want to end a relationship with someone I cared about. How about you just sit and pee that way you cant forget.

Put a post it not or piece of paper that says CLOSE THE LID... so you see it when peeing... then the more you do it the more you get into the habit of doing it therefore it works and you keep the seat down

Is she serious?!? C'mon it's a minor thing, but you could try not to piss her off. If you really, really can't remember to put the toilet seat down, you could buy one of those gag things, like list what you can and can't do in the bathroom, just to remind your self or just write " PUT THE SEAT DOWN" on the door :)

Write yourself a message in big red felt pen underneath the seat rim - PUT THE TOILET SEAT DOWN - that way every time you go, you will be reminded!

Get rid of her then you can leave the toilet how you want...I can't understand what the fuss is about with toilet seats..Surely it's a simple enough task for each user to put it how they need it...

Ok...let's talk about this...
Why is it that we have to be the ones to move it around all the times...they don't leave it up for us so why should we do it for them?
If my wife told me : Leave the seat down when you are done or I am leaving you...
I would definitely reply: If YOU don't leave it up when you are finished you won't get any action for a week!!!!
