Depends Really..
If The Father Is called Alan then its nice because its been named afrer him.
Its a unusual name .
personally i wouldnt name my child Alanna But I Still think its a nice name.

I know a yougn lady with that name, beautiful one too :) I think it's to name her for her dad, Alan.
I'm not much for wacky names, but this ones pretty and not far out there. But don;t listen to anyone, when your baby is born if the name suits her, use it!!
They don;t pronounce it like Alan, it's "soft A's". Think hers has an h on teh end too but not positive.

If your trying to be different its a great name but for me i would not name my child that name but were all different and have different taste .. use it if it means allot to you or if it mean something special ...
