does ex-francisco and san francisco the same? why is it called ex-francisco?

i dont know if its the same,,i never heard it before,,,until a friend mentioned it and thats how he call's san francisco,,,,,or maybe he means some other place though..........hope u can help me with it guys,,,,thanks

I have NEVER heard of ex-francisco, and I've lived here for over 40 years.

Lived here my whole life and have never heard ex-francisco either.

never heard of it. Lived here for 25 years. And we don't call it frisco or san fran either.
