A "killer" teacher is one who can repeatedly captivate their learners and hold their attention for extended periods of time while teaching them important concepts that will benefit them later in life.

A killer teacher is someone who can teach and actually hold the attention of their students. The students actually learn from the teacher, even the somewhat slow ones.

I once read a quote and I do not remember who said it, but it was in response to a person asking a teacher how she was able to reach students that no one else could. Her answer was something like this," That is an easy question to answer, I simply loved those kids." A "killer" teacher connects with his/her kids and really, really cares about them.

Bob's answer is "killer." I'd just add one thing to it. A killer teacher can communicate on an individual level with students of both very high and very low abilities.

These teachers truly get to know students and encourage them to follow their desires and love learning. A great teacher has more questions than answers and learns along-side the students. This teacher is compassionate, positive, and enthusiastic about ALL times of learning.
