DEAR FRIEND,

One has to understand clearly the sentence

'' TRUTH IS GOD''

What exactly is the meaning of truth. Not the literal meaning or the conventional meaning that we use with in our conversation.

TRUTH means SATYAM (in Sanskrit) means that thing that is real and unmodified, unmodifiable, untainted in present ,past or future.THAT THAT WILL NOT CHANGE WITH TIME.

That means.

GOD is expressed as THAT THING WHICH IS UNCHANGEABLE WITH TIME, WITHOUT A BEGINNING ,MIDDLE OR END.(Aadi madyaanta rahitam)

Let us take for example one thing.
Earth has gravitational force and it attracts any thrown upwards to it.This was scientifically found by Newton.
does it mean Earth did not have this force before Newton found it?No.It was there whether we know it or not. This is a TRUTH.

Such unmodifiable truths are codified in every logical way by in Vedas, the scriptures of ultimate wisdom.
Mahatma Gandhi experimented with this and he wrote articles. He was always truthful. He believed in truth to be God.
His experiments with truth are worth reading for every body, especially our youth .

TRUTH IS GOD. Yes, to understand this you have to understand the base of Hindu philosophy and spiritualism. Truth are mainly of two kinds. One is for present or from a perspective. Other is eternal - Shashwat. The eternal truth is Par BrahM - The One & Only Supreme. He never changes. Remains the same not affected by anything. Rest of the things keep on changing. So when you speak the right from your perspective, the thing which is right from your knowledge, is a worldly truth. By adopting the virtue of speaking 'Truth and only truth" you worship the eternal TRUTH - THE GOD - Par BrahM.

I don't know what indians want to say ...I only can tell you that Jesus , the eternal Son of God said that He is The Truth , The Way , and The Life ''. And I , being an Ortodox Christian from birth..understand that Jesus wanted to say that The Truth comes from God , (Jesus only repesented God The Father here on the Earth, but Jesus also is a God as status and psysical condition), that the Truth is only the one said by Jesus Christ Son of God , that Truth is all that Jesus told us ...That Truth is that the real God is God The Father acctually .the Holly Trinity .That's my opinion..
