Some information is need to reply about your question. But I will try.

First of all what kind of software are you using to make slide show? then does that slide show have a function to add music in background? if you have that kind of software and do not know what to do try to use help file.

If you still need help send me some details of your slide show software or you are just trying to add background music when you click photos in windows, if so that will not work.
