pick it up and bang it on the table, not too hard but a quick bang. This works for mine!! Seriously. So annoying when it happens though.

best ans = make sure the connection is not loose at back of pc, 2nd and funnier answer take a typing course? lol j/k prolly lose connect at back of pc is it by chance a usb port? if so switch it to another port and try rebooting pc ~

strange that is, but i had a similar problem on mine, what i done was go to the languages and redo the UK english and reboot, i am not saying it will work for you, but it did for me, sometimes you get little glitches when the initial windows platform loads, thats why sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, so i would try this one first ok, i hope this helps you, failing that it would probably pay you to format your drive to all zeros and reinstall your windows platform

Clean your computer. It may have a badly coded keylogger grabbing letters and not letting them all through. Run spybot, adaware, your favourite virus scanner.
