I refer to George Bush the private person- in terms of
- his ranch has internal geothermic heating
-his ranch has a wide range of plantation programs

-under his reign, the White House has been retrofitted with cutting edge energy conservation and renewable energy fittings (more efficient lighting, solar panelling, cutting down on central heating use and insatlling more efficient heating and cooling).
-Air Force One has been retrofitted with engines that are 20% more efficient
He does not hire personal private business jets- but instead all his entourage and hangers on travel on one chartered aircraft- like a giant VIP bus- so he unwittingly is being more transport efficient?
The Republican government corrected water contamination issues that were a legacy of the Clinton administration (these comments all gathered from the Michael Moore book, "Stupid White Men").
Under Bush- alternative energy research, biofuel factories, etc have accelerated massively.
Your views on this odd paradox?

It's a very odd paradox isn't it?
Oh- also I read that the Bush daughters are going to start their own organic clothing line.
What's Chelsea up to?

This whole topic is just so bizarre!

I personally dislike Bush- but Obama and Clinton are woeful- US brothers- look to what is happening now in the UK and worry about it- that is a Hillary or Obama Democrat future!

Hillary and Obama will make Canada look like Franco's Spain in comparison to the US.
Be very, very, very worried- 5th columnists are a bigger danger to your nation than Al-Qaeda

You can talk about what they do as people individually, but when your administration has de-regulated polluters, sold off National Forests for logging, and withdrawn from Kyoto because it might cost some polluters some money to comply, nothing Bush has done personally can possibly make up for the damage he has caused in his six years.

He's literally the worst environmental President ever.

Bush ,presently, may be more environmentally freindly than Hillary or Obama but don`t worry, their camps won`t take the the chance of falling behinde where Bush is a champ.Don`t be surprised if both of them persist on environmental issues in their campaign issues.

Well now, Hillary or Obama might start a campaign of rounding up all the citizens who don't believe in Global Warming and forcing them into camps to create carbon offsets.

They will be more "Green" than Bush if they do this.

Liberals always love to TALK but seldom WALK.

"Do what I say not what I do."

After giving speech about "How Democrats will pass the law to deal with Global Warming" last friday, Pelosi tooks her private jet back to SF from DC for the weekend.

Al Gore flies his private jet around the world to give the same speech - "We got to do something to stop Global Warming." LOL
