Do not go on holiday with these people. Let your parents know why. Talk to your school counselor and see if they can notify police or social services. This type of abuse has to stop.

Be upfront and honest with your friend .She deserves that much . After all you did say she was your friend .
Until they get there issues resolved I would not go with them on any vacation .
They should be seeing a Counselor ,first and foremost .Not just for themselves , but also for there daughters sake, and who is your friend .
There are places to go to get help for her mother as well as the father .
There is no reason why men as well as women have to deal with issues today when there is so much help out there , people are just afraid to go . And probably what will become of the circumstances , but it sure cant be any worse then what they deal with in every day life .
Be honest with your friend , she will respect you for it , and if you loose her for being honest , let it go . At one point hopefully she will see you were right and you will continue to be the friends you say you are .

abusive realtionships
ehh not the best thing to be involved in, my mum and i used to have problems with my dad and i would have to run out on the street to get away.
i would go on the holiday to be with your friend but the first sign of any violence at all get on the phone to someone straight away, and i dont think he would do it in front of his daughters friend anyway
but i would talk about it with your friend, and she will understand and will try and protect you if at all possible

I am so sorry, Please, please tell your parents and your teacher or school counsellor. This is very very serious and also dangerous. Domestic violence is a serious crime. The web site address I have included is easy to read and understand. go and have a look. be informed. Take care and good luck

You need to tell your parents immediately, and NO, you should not go anywhere with them. It is not safe.
