Do this , go out and buy a slide. When your fingers are hurting play the slide and change the tuning around on the slide so you learn to play a few styles.

I've been more... playing enthusiastically. My fingertips may spontaneously begin to bleed... and my throat is very sore... it's been a VERY good night. Stop if you must. The music ceases never...

toughen up, quit crying, no pain no gain. is it right? is it perfect? do the words lazy, going nowhere, loser, want to be mean anything TO YOU.......just kidding, put yourself on a reasonable schedule and stick to it. being tried and frustrated does you no good....good luck, I'm sure you're great....starred your question. really, I'm sorry, just woke up a Little Moody.
