half to death + half to death = once dead. But for this to hold true you'd have to be scared half to death twice in the exact same moment. Otherwise you'd just be decreasing in life.
So if life is 1, and u'r scared half to death, then you're 0.5, then if it happens again u're 0.25, then 0.125 and so on...

Lets see here...
Scared 1/2 to death = 50% life
again = 25% life
again = 12.5% life
again = 6.25% life
Of course...as soon as you're over being scared 1/2 to death, your life meter starts building back up again so as long as you're not getting rapid fire scared 1/2 to deaths, I think you're pretty safe!

well, you're at least half alive. before you get scared half to death again, you need to be sure to come alive at least once. that could be with a cup of coffee ("it just makes me come alive in the mornings") or a dip in an icy pool ("invigorating, makes you come alive") or something else that does that job.
