Most of the time, no matter who's driving, a passenger (regardless of gender or age) rides in the back seat (as opposed to the front seat)... Why?

"Oriental" has been used by the West as a term to describe cultures, countries, peoples and goods from the Orient.

And I live in Los Angeles and see this quite often...

Maybe they like the view better, or don't trust the driver? Just curious who do you consider oriental?
