Tazz by far is the better wrestler, by winning all of ECW's titles when ECW was an independant promotion, and his submission moves & suplex's were amazing to watch and looked they would hurt, however announcerwise, Tazz in his heyday of announcing Smackdown with Michael Cole, was great to hear, however I say that JBL is the better announcer, due to the fact that he hates Michael Cole and argues with him at the commentary table, also he is more in favour of the heel wrestlers than any WWE Commentator I have heard. Wrestlerwise, JBL was a great wrestler as part of the APA with Farooq, but when he became the rich buissnessman JBL I immedaitly disliked him, & he always cheated to keep the WWE title which definatly didn't show him as an honorable champion in my view
So to sum up, Tazz = Better Wrestler, JBL = Better Announcer

Tazz is a better wrestler, he's bigger and stronger
JBL is a better commentator because he's funnier
And JBL is more of an idiot than Tazz

Tazz, he's won a heavyweight championship, TWICE! JBL only had the WWE for almost a year cause like Paul Heyman said on the first ECW One Night stand, it was because Triple H didn't wana work on Tuesdays.

Taz by far, in both wrestling and announcing. Taz was one of the better wrestlers to set foot in any ring and was one of the last people to truly believe in his gimmick (whether or not that's a good idea, who knows). In announcing Taz follows smoothly with the action, keeps up with it and does his job. Meaning if a heel is in the ring, Taz will get that across. If its a face, Taz will get that across. Too many times JBL comes across with an agenda and if he doesn't like you, he buries you on the announcing. That is not the job of the announcer, his job is to help get you over. Admittedly when JBL doesn't have an agenda he is a very effective commentator, but Taz is far superior. You can also see it in the case of Michael Cole. When Cole and Taz were together, Cole was on top of his game, once Taz left, Cole's work has fallen noticeably. Taz forced Cole to pick up his game and it showed. Taz is probably the second best wrestler turned announcer ever after Jesse Ventura.
