I cannot find the serial number with my Windows XP cd and I want to reinstall it on my pc ?

Is there any way around it without the serial number ?

Yes, you should go to the Microsoft website and enter the customer id. Search for the specific pages there. You can also phone to your retailer for this.

There should be a XP sticker on your PC with the product key info.

Go to the my computer icon on your desktop and right click on that, Click Properties and under the General tab you should see your product key.
